Hawaii Islands to most people is just white sandy beach,coconut palm trees and friendly people,hawaiian islands however is much more than that,the largest island of the group is hawaii,this amazing island is over 4,028 square miles and continues to grow.
There are 5 distinct volcanoes on the island-mauna loa-mauna kea-kilauea-kohala,and hualalai.
The name kilauea means much spewing, in 1979 kilauea awaken, it's hot lava flow has damage 3 costal towns but also created hundreds of acres of new land.
During winter snow falls on mauna kea, it is sometimes called white mountain,the tropical climate and rich soil grows a variety of fruits and vegetables,there is also a variety of climate zones on the island these include rain forests and desert,parts of the island get 10 inches of rain while other parts get 100 inches anually.
